Questions &
Answers: Does waxing hurt? Waxing hurts the first time because a lot of hair is being removed at once. The discomfort will be greatly reduced during the second appointment, which MUST be within four weeks. Each appointment gets easier as the skin becomes accustomed to waxing and fewer hairs are removed. What Home Care should I do? Use a professional post waxing gel to soothe irritation. Condition your skin daily with moisturizing lotion. Exfoliation in the shower with a loofah mitt prevents the build up of dead cells, ingrown hairs and reduces itchiness. What are the benefits and results you can expect from waxing? Waxing weakens hair, resulting in finer, less visible hair growth. Finer hair is less painful to remove. The rate of hair growth between waxing treatments will decrease, resulting in longer time between waxing. The number of treatments required vary with each individual. Will it make my hair grow back thicker or stronger? If we could stimulate hair growth, there would be no bald men. Waxing, shaving, tweezing and electrolysis do not stimulate hair growth. How long does my hair have to be and how long will I be hairless after waxing? Three weeks outgrowth is recommended. This is hard in the beginning, but if you come in monthly for appointments, you will love the results. You will be hairless and smooth. |
